Our Mission

Approved Mortgages, Inc.’s Mission is to provide innovative mortgage products to meet the financial needs of a diverse group of homeowners, efficiently servicing their home purchase and refinance needs.  We believe our first responsibility is to the clients who entrust us with obtaining financing for their homes.  Our goal is to make each client so satisfied with the service we provide that they will naturally refer us future business and return to us each time they have a home financing need.  To ensure that our staff provides this level of service, we treat them with respect, trust and confidence and provide on-going training and support for them.  We also expect our employees to treat each other in this manner, understanding our individual talents, strengths and weaknesses.  Management will always strive for an environment where each employee is proud to work for Approved Mortgages and genuinely promotes their contributions towards its success.  

Our History

Approved Mortgages, Inc. was started in 1996 by Bill and Shahnaz Broucek.  With their experience in the mortgage industry, Bill's B.A. in Finance from Western Michigan University and Shahnaz's Accounting degree from Central Michigan University (now pursuing an MBA at University of Michigan), they were well equipped and eager to build a fun and motivating work environment with everyone focused on providing the best customer experience.  No matter how large we may grow, we strive to always have a close knit small company, family environment.   We have seen a lot of ups and downs in the housing market, and many loan programs have come and gone.  Our strength has been the depth of knowledge of our experienced staff.  The changes in our industry in the past few years have been vast, and it's our job to stay abreast of these changes so that we can serve you best. 

We have been recognized as one of the Greater Detroit Chamber of Commerce's "Future 50 Companies of Metro Detroit" in the past.  Our roots in the community run deep and our corporate culture and values encourage active participation in local events, philanthropy and support of other area businesses.

Technology in our industry continues to evolve and we pay close attention.  We're eager to continue growing, evolving, and service the ever changing needs of our clients.  We're in this business for the long run, whenever you need us.  Part of the future we envision is an increasingly "GREEN" environment. We are taking steps every day to move towards a more efficient, less wasteful operation.  

Our Clients

Our clients needs drive all our decisions.  Loan programs, flexible schedules, and always going the extra mile to show you we care...this is who we are.  Many of our clients today have busy lives and need to work with us outside the conventional 9 to 5 banking hours.  In addition, there are a lot of added complexities for many people that are much better served by a highly experienced loan officer than someone working at a call-center.  We set ourselves apart from the competition by welcoming clients who want more than just a deal.  We aim to be a trusted advisor you can count on to call you when rates drop or new programs are released that might be a good fit for you.  We're committed to paying attention to your changing needs and preference so that we can serve you better.
